Yerrawan Government Arrests Dozens of Rapa Pilese Independence Demonstrators

In a move that state-run media described as 'foiling a terrorist plot', the Yerrawan military government today arrested nearly two-dozen demonstrators who had attempted to disrupt a televised event where Yerrawan president and National Defense Council-chair Zaw Soe Thant hosted a Vascanian diplomatic delegation. The demonstrators, all affiliated with pro-Rapa Pilese independence movements that views the continued Vascanian occupation of Rapa Pile as illegal, have been "effectively disappeared" according to experts on the Yerrawan regime.
Such arrests are commonplace for the Yerrawan junta, though most often for dissent over internal repression rather than international issues. A vast apparatus of detention camps is widely understood to exist in Yerrawa's sparsely populated interior frontier lands.
