Six Nations 5724 kicks off in Valruzia!

Hosts deliver mixed results in first round with Kalistan as early favorites and Bianjie surprises!

As summer approaches, the most anticipated sporting event of the year has kicked off! Valruzia has dressed up to gather Luthori, Kalistan, Bianjiec Mordusia and Lodamun and to host the very first Six Nations rugby tournament, which will last till the early days of July. Szary Kamien and Gryfitów have been chosen as the inaugural hosts, with the former hosting the first men's matches and the latter doing the same for the women's.

With hotels almost fully book in most of the host cities – which include Nowogard, Hel and Brzansk too – the Valruzian authorities are ready to provide the necessary security measures for the millions of tourists and fans that have flooded the nation in recent days.

Men's tournament: 

The Valruzian hosts were the team tasked with the first match of the competition, paired against the Lodamese team. With a 31–15 score in favor of the hosts, this was the first stone in the step towards the wanted title. 

The Kalistani powerhouse was paired against Bianjie, and the Dovani team had little chance to do anything other than to see how the Seleyan team repeatedly scored once and again until a whooping 55–0. But there still a long way to go!

However, the game that stole all the attention was the nail-bitting match between Mordusia and Luthori, decided at the very last minute until a 20–18 score in favor of the Mordusians.

Women's tournament: 

If Kalistan, Valruzia and Mordusia's men sides won their matches, it was exactly the opposite for the women's teams, as Bianjie, Lodamun and Luthori won theirs, with a special mention to the Bianjian team as they defeated the hosts by 3 points (25-22) in the last match of the day.

With that, the official first day of the Six Nations 5724 has come to an end! However, with four more rounds on the horizon, be assured that everything can change and we'll have to wait to see which teams become the winners of this first edition.
