Bianjie avoids constitutional crisis after ending a months-long political deadlock
Democrats in a historic agreement with their socialist "enemies", agree to support socialist candidate, Heshen Tamuka in his premiership candidacy, but will remain in the opposition furthermore

After a record-high five months of bickering and failed negotiations in one of the most dramatic elections in almost a century, Bianjie will finally have a new government. Heshen Tamuka, the new leader of the Socialist People's Party (SPP) coming in the election, was voted as the premier-designate following a  second nomination vote on Tuesday, after the liberal conservative Democratic People's Party (DPP) chose to support his minority cabinet to break the political paralysis and avoid further political crisis.  

The vote, which brought an end to more than 100 days of political deadlock, saw socialist Tamuka win the required majority of 115 votes in the nation's legislature, Khanate Yuan, securing the backing of 89 of socialist MPs, 4 more of the Shindoto (TPP) party and 4 more independents, amounting to a total of 97 MPs, as well as 40 democrat deputies, with nine other democrats chosing to defy leadership by voting against Tamuka's candidacy, with the latter being elected in the second round of the vote, and expected to be sworn by Khan Nilhuma on Thursday, after meeting him in the Orchid Palace.

Political analysts considered the national committee of the DPP decision to back a new socialist government is to avoid the prolonging of a political crisis that could increase traction for a constitutional amendment allowing snap elections, something which nobody in the Yuan except the GAB have been supportive of. In a historic move, putting aside historic disagreements, the DPP national committee approved the motion to support Tamuka-led socialist government with 19 out of 28 members voting aye, with the rest of voting against, or even seen walking out the session altogether, reflecting deeper division within the largest opposition party with large identity crisis following the danger of becoming the nation's third largest force after the near-second performance of the GAB. Immediately after the committee vote, nine DPP MPs from the more conservative faction publicy announced their disagreement with the decision, and intention to vote against Tamuka nevertheless.

On the other side of the aisle, disappointment in the traditional left, represented by the SPP, and anger at the traditional opposition for caving to socialists. Political newcomers and third largest force by a small margin, the Green Alliance of Bianjie (GAB), and its male co-leaders, Gūwalgiya Eldembu, confirmed his intention to remain in the race as GAB's premier candidate, adding that SPP and DPP union shows the problem with the current system, and reaffirmed Alliance's movement to break the status quo, held by two parties. "SPP failed to address the issues of this nation, while DPP failed to deliver the strong opposition message, not being able to replace SPP. Both government and opposition have failed this country, and that is why our movement is a true alternative, able to bring change to this nation", said Irifune Sora, party's female co-leader. New Right Alliance (NRA) leaders announced their respective parties will vote blank in the nomination vote, while bashing DPP for supporting socialist Tamuka. "The corrupt elites unite together when they are afraid of the change, of the real change led by patriots and ordinary people, and that is what angers us the most here", said Alin Bulamu, co-leader of the NRA and leader of the Bianjie Sovereignist Party (BSP).

Speaking after the vote, Tamuka said there is still a lot of work, and called for other parties to come toghether, and work alongside his government for the "betterment of this nation" and "ending the political corruption". "And even though we received less support than five years ago, the plurality of Bianjians still support us, and put their trust in us, something which we cannot ignore", Tamuka said. "Bianjie is the greatest nation in the world, and I hope that no matter what, we will be able to govern normally, and deliver results for the people of this country in cooperation with you all in this chamber",
