Manhunt for Buyeo Bomsori Ends as Communist Dictator Captured in Rokgi Province
The Office of the Interior and the Imperial Intelligence Service have officially confirmed the capture of former communist insurgent leader Buyeo Bomsori near the settlement of Mulgaba (比甲勿), Rokgi Province. This concludes the more than a year-long manhunt for the dictator, who disappeared and went into hiding as Allied Forces liberated the northern administrative center of Taedo in the Gyeongja year.
Ms. Buyeo illegally seized power in a military coup and proceeded to launch the bloody invasion of the southern realm in the Gihae year. She is responsible for murderous and severe crimes against the state and people, having attempted to use her forces to illegally seize power and install a communist dictatorship.
Since her hiding the OFI and IIS have been conducting a nonstop search to bring her to justice. As it was revealed upon restless investigation, near Mulgaba in Rokgi Ms. Buyeo was being sheltered by local communist loyalists. Earlier today the Imperial Intelligence Service with assistance from the Royal Army of Baeguk stormed the mountain compound in Mulgaba, whereupon Ms. Buyeo and several of her high-ranking associates in the communist terrorist regime were found and captured. The IIS and RAB sustained negligible casualties; one communist was killed and two more were injured in the ensuing firefight upon government entry. The injured two are currently recovering at Mulgaba Central Hospital.
Notable documents of interest related to the criminal conspiracies of the banned so-called "Workers Party of Dranea" were captured and will be selectively released to the public as time and conditions allow. The Office of the Interior believes that the group were in conspiracy plotting to flee to Utaristan, but more information will be gathered.
Ms. Buyeo and her conspirators have been charged by the state with Treason, Crimes Against Humanity, and Murder. The crime of treason against the crown is punishable by death.
Under the laws of the KGB, all civilians and subjects have the right to a fair and impartial trial under civil jurisdiction. However, Ms. Buyeo will be treated as not a civilian but rather an enemy combatant given her commuist terrorist activities. Accordingly, prosecution falls out of the purview of the OFI per the request of the MOA, which will coordinate the special prosecution of the insurgents. Thus ends the role of the OFI in bringing these communist terrorists to justice.
