I would like to propose a cultural protocol change for ikradon, as it always has been roleplayed as more ikradonian, the culture should represent that in my opinion. Last 150 years at least.
Also as history. Ikradon was once under the durdorfian Reich and now last 60 years the relation between those 2 have very good, with school exchanges and Ikradun island.
The other culture where already present in the previous CP.
Religion wise it would be natural that atheism would heavily increase as 60 years religion was not promoted and even discouraged.
Hello MrFacts,
For now this Cultural Protocol is not accepted. We have several concerns with the length, formatting, and lack of context/helpful tools.
Specifically things like "(fries, region of netherlands)" could be rephrased to "(OOC: Dutch Frisians)" to match the format used in religions. "(sort of african)" is likewise problematic, this means nothing (Africa has over 3,000 ethnicities). It needs more detail, name a few specific tribes or African ethnicities. Likewise "(cultures artania)" could be more specific, name a few nations that have close ties with Ikradon.
With the religion our issue is that there is "30% atheism" listed but also "Other religions (OOC: Agnostic, etc.) - 7%". First the formatting here is different, which makes it confusing, but that 7% could simply become 30% by making it "Other religions (OOC: Agnostic, atheism, etc.) - 30%" and you cover the same base. Or, even better, you list it as "Irreligious - 30%" as there are differences between atheism and agnosticism.
Similarly we feel that the cultural numbers have fluctuated too heavily. Esinsundu went from 30% to 5% with no real RP to explain where these millions of people went off to. All other African cultures (Ibutho, Asli, Irkawan) all vanished. Dundorfians came out of nowhere and are suddenly 15% of the population. These fluctuations are too radical and serve no purpose except to remove interesting cultures from Ikradon and add more of a culture we already have in plenty of nations.
Then there is the lack of context and helpful tools to make players more at home in Ikradon, take for example the Cultural Protocol in Malivia where a cultural overview is given, language is explained and places to get names for party figures is even provided. For the same idea but a bit shorter you could look at the Cultural Protocol of Narikaton and Darnussia which does the same in fewer words.
We understand this is a lot to work with so feel free to reach out to myself or ask for help from an expert (Polites' second name is Cultural-Protocol for example).
i understand the logic of this, my proposal was may be to limited with information and perhaps roleplay. To say that they came out of nowhere is a little bit untrue for me. Like is said in 200 years there is not really a roleplay that supports the ensinundu's staying, also 60 years of roleplay with big alliances with dundorf, exchanging schools, the island, trading and the growth of ikradon economically can be a reason dundorfians decided to stay. While Ikradonians had free healthcare, education and improvement of education, started to reproduce more and more births. The ensinindu's leaving, i understand that one totally, i will ask nileowen, who is in control of temania if we could roleplay something.
otherwise the culture of ensinindu's, hovian, ikradonian, they are totally differant, the only thing you could roleplay of this, is a civil war.
About the religion, ill look into it to make a better report or explanation, language section i forgot.
I'll make it better and come back with a better proposal.
