BERISHA INVESTIGATOR DIES IN FALL FROM SINGLE-STOREY HOME

HELIOS — Inspector Loukas Pandeles, 51, the senior investigator assigned to the Berisha crash, has died after falling from the roof of his home.

A ministry spokesman confirmed Pandeles had climbed up to inspect a television aerial at approximately two in the morning, during a rainstorm, in his dressing gown. The house is single-storey, and the fall was of just under three metres. Colleagues note Pandeles did not own a television.
