INVESTIGATOR ON BERISHA CASE DROWNS AT CLOSED BEACH

Inspector Sotiria Vlachou, 44, the lead investigator on the Berisha inquiry, has drowned while swimming at a public beach near Mossavi, eleven days after receiving the file. Colleagues expressed surprise at the circumstances, noting that Vlachou was a former national junior swimming champion, that the beach in question has been closed since 5729, and that it was raining at the time.
