Today, Lotus Party leader Huang Zitao was diagnosed with prostate cancer only a month before his ultimatum to Chancellor Zhang Zemin's governing Republicans is about to pass. The cruel ultimatum, which the Republicans agreed to in order to maintain their control over the country's failing economy, involves subsidizing healthcare for all Indralans. This legislation would clearly benefit Huang Zitao, and force Indralans to contribute thousands-if not millions of shapirs to pay for his experimental treatments. Word on the street says that the government will initiate a full scale investigation into the matter and possibly refuse any treatment to Mr. Huang due to a clear conflict of interest. New revelations have also come out about Zitao's doctor, who is known for using experimental treatments on patients that pay him more. It also believed that Zitao's doctor has an affinity for gay men, and could possibly be a conflict of interest for Huang Zitao himself.
