Sun Luhan Spotted Hunting in Anle

Fu Wei, Anchor: Good evening, and thank you for joining us on JBC, Indrala's number one source for news. This morning, Indrala's most popular bachelor Sun Luhan was spotted hunting in Anle.

Sun, who is the heir of the Clan Sun has rarely been spotted in Indrala, as he studies abroad at Gongmangdo University in Dankuk. Recently, the Kaizhou Inquirer reported on the fact that Sun is the last remaining male member of his family under 100 years old. This has led to much anticipation as to who he will marry. It was uncovered this week that the young noble has received marriage offers from three different noble clans within Indrala, all of which he has declined. S

Sun is well known for having been reluctant in the past to embrace his role as Titular Beiyi of Feihua, and Sun Group CEO, desiring a life outside of tradition and service. Sources from within the Sun Li Pavillion in Kaizhou have disclosed that Sun is known for his gloominess and pessimism, often found aimlessly strolling along the koi ponds of the palatial estate. Lotus Party Leader Slams Other Party Leaders at GLF Meeting

Anchor Chen Gengxin: Thank you Anchor Fu. Today the Lotus Party Leader Kwan Zhiyong was at a General Labour Federation meeting in Taixi, where she discussed the recent election results which saw further reductions in the total number of Lotus Party members in the National Conference. The third-party leader could barely contain her anger with the National Awakening Party and Social Reform Party after what she declared was "a backstabbing"

Kwan Zhiyong: I had received written assurances that both the SRP and the NAP would endorse our party in the election. Then, when the election rolls around rather than two friends at my side, I had two daggers in my back! What this election has made clear is that the Lotus Party stands alone in our fight for a more progressive future! We're the only party that takes the Republican threat seriously!

Anchor Chen Gengxin: The Lotus Party has been on a losing streak since 4280, with the introduction of two other parties on the left which have often split the vote. Despite this, Kwan claimed that the Lotus Party is the only alternative to the Republican government:

Kwan Zhiyong: Only our party has proven time and time again that we will stand up against the Republicans privatization frenzy. Only our party has proven that we can govern this country so that every Indralan can walk on the flower path! And let me tell you, when the Republicans put a bill forward in the National Conference, we're there to debate it! Half of the time, the NAP isn't even there. Well, friends, if you don't show up to work, you don't deserve a promotion. Am I right? *applause*

Kwan Zhiyong did, however, win a seat in the National Conference, and is expected to shuffle her shadow cabinet after the loss of 25 seats and major retirements from party seniors like Linda Wong and General Yang Hanying.

Siji Institute Researching Efficacy of Traditional Indralan Medicine Against Wolfshiem Plague

Anchor Chen Gengxin: As the Wolfshiem Plague ravages Dovani, researchers at the Siji Institute are partnering with medical researchers from Enshi University to test the possible effectiveness of traditional Indralan medicine against the virus behind the disease. The effectiveness of Indralan herbal medicine remains poorly researched and documented. Pharmaceutical research in the past has explored the potential for creating new drugs from traditional remedies, with few successful results. However, that doesn't dissuade Professor Donald Tsang:

Professor Donald Tsang, Siji Institute: See, many in the so-called scientific community, centered in the west, of course, have written off Indralan traditional medicine. But we have been practicing this form of medicine for over 5,500 years. Sometimes the solutions to the toughest questions in our world have been with us the whole time. If western medicine is so much better, where is their cure?

Anchor Chen Gengxin: Professor Tsang's counterpart at Enshi University, Dr. Lam remains skeptical, but hopeful:

Dr. Lam Shifeng, Enshi University: Do I think that the solution to this aggressive virus will be found in traditional Indralan medicine? I'm not so sure. But at this rate, should we really be writing anything off?

Anchor Chen Gengxin: The Siji Institute has received a $22.3 million shapir grant from the government to continue with their research.
