Indralan Naval Missile Cruiser spotted off the coast of Min
TIAN'AN, Han -- The National Conference has now passed legislation to give the Armed Forces the mandate to participate in World Congress Military Contingent to Ostland. In a surprise display of bipartisan collaboration, the Republican government appointed General Yang Hanying, who recently stood as a candidate for the leadership of the Lotus Party, as Supreme Commander of the Indralan Contingent of the WCMCO.
The legislation also mobilizes the Third Naval Fleet to participate in the Hutori-led blockade of Hulstria. While not the most powerful fleet of the Indralan Navy, the fleet has considerable long-range firepower, with a number of guided-missile cruisers and an aircraft carrier carrying the new Xiandai I20 jet, first displayed during war games in 4290. The stealth-fighter is one of the most modern and powerful military jets in the world, which has made it the de facto crown jewel of the Indralan Armed Forces.

Sun Luhan being mobbed by "fans" outside of Kaizhou International Airport
KAIZHOU, Jiaozhi -- Sun Luhan, heir to the the petty-noble Sun Clan is leaving Indrala today to return to Gongmangdo University in Dankuk to continue his studies. While he attempted to leave without any fanfare, news of his departure quickly spread on the internet and around 300 people, mostly teenagers, had gathered outside of Kaizhou International Airport to catch a glimpse at the young noble.
Ever since the death of his father, Sun Xulun, in 4299, the young Sun Luhan has captured the public's imagination. Sun, who is the only member of his family under 100 years old, is under great pressure to find a wife by his family and shareholders in the Sun-family owned conglomerate the Sun Group. However, while Sun has recieved offers from 3 other noble families within Indrala, he has refused them all.
Sources from within the Sun Family's staff say that all the attention Sun has garnered has only pushed the young heir further into seclusion and introversion. One butler we spoke to described his day-to-day activities:
Quote:Since the Young Master has been back, he's been ever so glum. The Young Master wakes up around 6am, where he then goes horseback riding into the woods alone for around 2 hours. Then, when he gets back, he sits outside in the garden and stares into space until the sun goes down! Oh my, the Young Master! How that worries all of us! When the sun finally goes down, he retires to his bedchambers, where he takes his dinner. Sometimes he doesn't eat much at all!We spoke to Professor Jia Zhi from Indrala University's faculty of psychology:
Quote:It's concerning, all these reports. It seems like the young man may be struggling with depression. Although it is also possible that he is simply struggling to come to terms with his lot in life. There have been plenty of reports about his lack of enthusiasm regarding his inheritance and all the responsibility that comes with it.

Min Ah arriving at the Tian'an Central District Prosecutors' Office
TIAN'AN, Han -- Prosecutors said Friday that they would question a former chief-executive of Indrala's largest airline Indralair next week as part of its probe into allegations that he worked with the Xuan Shuren administration and Xiandai to commit insider trading and receive favourable tax conditions, in addition to sex trafficking and sexual assault allegations made against Min.
The Tian'an Central District Prosecutors' Office said that Min Ah will be interrogated as a "suspect" on Monday. Min led the airline from 4270-4287 during which the airline purchased nearly $6 billion dollars in Xiandai commercial jets, deals which were reportedly drafted directly by the Xuan Shuren's Republican administration. During his time as CEO, it has also been reported that Min trafficked prostitutes and behaved in a sexually inappropriate way to a number of his employees.
The questioning was arranged after the prosecutors raided the homes and offices of former Indralair executives on Monday.
