KPRF on track to exceed recruitment goals for the year
KPRF spokesmen reported yesterday that the KPRF is on target to meet its recruitment levels of close to half a million militia members under arms by the end of the summer, seven months ahead of scheduler.
"We have been swamped by Party members who were impressed by the radical redirection of the Socialist Party of Kalistan. We have opened recruit training depots in each District in Kalistan to handle the massive influx of new joins. Veteran Non Commissioned officer have been pulled out of RSMoK camps around the Republic and have been training the new individuals night and day. Curriculum includes close order drill, military discipline, learning to deal with stress and privation, both small and large weapons training, introduction to political warfare and basic artillery training. From there candidates go on to advanced school where they master the weapons system of their assigned unit, and then drop to field units to be integrated with veterans. In the meanwhile, veteran units have been broken up and dispersed throughout Kalistan to bring in the new forces and form new units." Both Arty and Infantry Corps have been established in all Districts of the country, in the countryside nearby major cities. New RSMoK bases have been developed by veteran surveyors, built on land donated by SPoK partisans.
The spokesman said further that at the rate they are inducting new partisans into the militia, RSMoK will meet goals set forth by its political front the KPRF, by the end of summer. Additionally, the Socialist contingent to the Kalistani Emergency Government has been forming, and have begun training with the RFP's militia, KLAWS (Kalistani Libertarian Army for World Socialism).
"We will be absolutely ready to defend Kalistan against the institution of fascism, should the need occur. We fully believe in on the job training!"
Cpl. FW Bennots, leader of the KPRF, joined the other members of the KPRF Shadow Government and went back to the field today, where he serves as an NCO in a Battalion Artillery survey section. Though they technically outrank their commanders, all members of the Shadow Cabinet are still members of the militia and still follow the chain of command. Two months ago, Bennots led a group mostly composed of NCO's to overthrow the civilian leadership of the Socialist Party and establish the KPRF in its place. The coup was unopposed, and so far only four of KPRF's civilian members of the Assembly have resigned in protest (they were subsequently replaced by militia members.) Bennot's continues to lead the Party from the field, and the once majestic SPoK Party headquarters in the very center of Kaliburg has now been converted to a barracks and armory for RSMoK's Kaliburg Regiment.
IN the meanwhile, KPRF has introduced several pieces of legislation designed to advance the cause of the Socialist Revolution in Kalistan, one being the Omnibus aimed at increasing the Party's Foreign Policy and ecology credentials.
