BREAKING NEWS- The SP nominates Schultz as candidate for President, Announces New Initiatives for Kalistan


Dr. Georg Schultz, ODEN:  SP candidate for President in the 3759 Elections

Today, the Socialist Party of Kalistan announced that it had nominated Georg Schultz to run for President in the 3759 elections. The Socialist Party had supported the RFP's Candidate in elections over the last few decades, with varying degrees of success, and has decided that the time is right to make a bid for the office. Schultz is currently an Associate Director of Balances at ODEN here in Kaliburg. Schultz has bid to continue the Governing Coalition which has directed Kalistan affairs for the past few cycles, and has offered to continue to work with SEE to ensure that the various Party Portfolios are adequately addressed in the Government, should he win. Schultz acknowledged the disappearance of the of the PCC, and will continue to work in government with the SEE as it has, regardless of who has won the election.

In other News, The SP has announced that its militia will be partially activated for the purpose of drills. Ananto, Odufaray and Neveras regiments are to report at SP training grounds outside Kaliburg for the first round of drills. Vrassa and Suldanor regiments will conduct MOUT drills on the grounds of Bennots Estate in Suldanor. The SP has also begun converting SP owned merchant Marines into a fast-ship coastal militia, for the purposes of practicing amphibious operations in Odufaray. The SP calls its militia up for drills in accord with the Party Militia Law. Drills are expected to last for two weeks, after which time, the Militia will be stood down.

Finally, the SP has announced its new Legislative Agenda for the final year of this cycle. Party spokeswoman Felicity Kreuger stated Wednesday Last: "The Socialist Party will remain committed to social justice and economic equality. We have had to adjust our spending and taxation priorities recently to bring the budget back into balance, but as the RFP steps into Economic Ministry, we can focus on our legislative agenda. Within the next year, we will evaluate our positions, and then potentially promote a Socialist Positions omnibus with the goal of making some adjustments to our Party's positions. We will also continue to defend the gains made by Kalistani People and prevent the roll back of the the dual economy in Kalistan. We have had some very productive conversations with the SEE, and look forward to continuing to work with them and the RFP on meaningful legislation in Kalistan. We will build on our successes for the future of the People of Kalistan."

Of course, Kalistan will continue to prosper as a nation as long as they enact the program of the Socialists.
