Bipartisanship continues, Reform and Nation cooperate on further reforms

National Party and Reform Party cooperate on constitutional changes

Randworth - Everyone thought that the bipartisan views of the two large parties would wane but for the second time in two years both parties cooperate on what both parties describe as vital constitutional changes. Spearheaded by the Reform Party and fully backed and cooperated on by the National Party, the constitutional changes will soon pass in the Parliament. 

Ever since the collapse of the multiparty system and Mordusia reverting back to the two-party system the two political long time allies, the Reform Party and the National Party have transformed into mutual mortal enemies. Effectively campaigning against one another. The Nationals taking up a less regional but a more centralised one-nation conservative vision, favouring the cities and big business. The Reform Party has won the hearts of the regional base and more left-leaning voters. The parties hardly agree on anything these days. However members from both side of the isle have found each other and agreed to work together to move Mordusia forward. 

In the new bill the Constitution of the Commonwealth will be changed to increase the number of seats in the Federal Parliament, also the number of seats will be distributed fairly amongst the states without favouring larger states. The parties hope that it will increase lively debate in the Federal Parliament. Also the Parliament of the Commonwealth will officially take up its unofficial name of Federal Parliament. The Cabinet will take the name of Federal Cabinet or Federal Council of Ministers to represent the Federal system of the Commonwealth. 

The cooperation between the two parties gives hope for civil politics and an end to polarsing politics within the Commonwealth.
