Free Democratic Party dissolved
The National Democratic Party recently spilled into turmoil with numerous factions splitting off and aligning themselves with other parties. This caused the total breakdown of the party causing it to collapse and their 73 seats effectively dissolved until the next election. This means that the NDP will have an outright majority until at least the next election meaning we could see some controversial bills pass as they can capitalise on this blunder.
This will have massive consequences for the election.
With the election only 1 year away, the NDP and other parties will attempt to sway the former voters of the FDP into it's hands. However, the largest winner of the FDP's demise is the liberal party as they have the most in common meaning they are most likely to inherit the FDP's voters. With the liberal party having recently voted on a more popular lassez-faire approach to the economy, we could see a huge election upset. The other big winner is the Reform Party who may pick up on some of the FDP's more extreme voter base.
We believe this is the most pivotal moment in the running up to the election and our experts have reviewed their recommendations and predicted these results:
1. Liberal Party Win (hung parliament)
2. National Democratic Party (close second)
3. Reform Party
4. Socialist Party
5. Social Conservative Party
Our experts believe that according to recent polling data the Liberal Party are set to win narrowly with the need to form an agreement with another party, likely the Reform or Socialist parties. The choice of coalition partner for the liberal party will greatly determine their path into the future and their future success.
A reminder that many things could change leading up to the election and it is based upon the opinion of our expert team.
