DUNDORF AND KANJOR TALKING ARMS PRODUCTION VENTURES
 
Premier’s Office, April 16, 5589:   CLAIRON PICARD  asked Premier Michel Malfois what was going on  between Bundesrepublik Dundorf and Communaute de Kanjor, and he replied:
 

Our Foreign Ministry and the Bundesrepublik’s Foreign Office have been discussing the possibility of some of our military hardware being sold there and some of theirs being available to us.  Both of us are adherents to abiding by humanitarian principles in international relations, and so filling in perceived gaps in our defense structure with them seems pretty natural to us.
 
This is somewhat more complicated than it may seem.  Although both our nations from time to time have military production privatized, at the moment all the items of interest are produced by privately owned industries.  So the governments involved can not just make a deal.
 
So what we are doing is sounding out private contractors with a view to making appropriate arrangements.  We are quite hopeful this will work out.
