Archaic Museum submits request to inspect Kundratijan Gem in Kalistan; YBI releases findings of investigation

Yishelem - The resurgence of the mythical 8 Gems of legend since their first unveil in Wiel in 5476 after almost 3000 years since the fall of the Kingdom of Yishelem (when the Holy Gem adorned the crown of the Luthorian sovereign in Beiteynu) seems to have no end. 

Representing the pinnacle of the Yeudi Heritage's now scattered roots across the 8 continents of Terra since the 1st Yeudi Homeland's collapse in the 1200s, these mere and simple pieces of rather ordinary stone have fascinated both the general public and the nobles and non-nobles alike of the House of Elior since even before Elias Ishmael IV's coronation in 5406 signalled the ascension of the (curiously numbered) 8th Yeudi Homeland.

It certainly did not help the methodically instigated obsession of mainstream media that Gem Publishing had hinted at all these tales several decades before, with the unfinished and notorious book series "The Meddling Affairs" speaking of a wider shadowy conspiracy turning the wheels.

Because, evidently, most of the series's claims turned out to be true. 

Which begs the question: what other rumours are true?

What's real; and what's fiction?

What we know for a fact, thanks to the Archaic Museum of Yishelem, is that, at present, 4 of the 8 Gems are in Wiel; while 2 of the 8 Gems are in Fort William. All 6, part of two imperial mandates mostly at odds with each other.

However, the most conspiracy-riddled and controversial one is the white Kundratijan Gem, shrouded in mystery and false-flags.

Technically, it all started when Gem Publishing's second instalment in the aforementioned book series, "Baruch Assasination", claimed that Cunnington Marit, a high-ranking officer of the defunct Terran Remediation Agency gave the Hulaveneks 1 of the 8 Gems in 5263, betraying the Kadiyots.

Then things went quiet for a long time - and then things went extremely loud in a short time.

In 5573, the National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema claimed 1 of the 8 Gems; presumably the one Marit gave to Hulavenek, considering that it was presented as part of the Hulavenek family's collection.

The claim, amidst yet another instance of rising tensions in Beiteynuese-Kundratijan relations.

That same month, the Archaic Museum of Yishelem requested an audit to authenticate. Shockingly, the request was explicitly denied merely a day later, as the Kundratijan Government moved to work with entities known to be at odds with Beiteynu, ultimately leading to the abrupt termination of intelligence partnerships between the two states by 5578. Then ties were officially cut a few years later, as the rift continued to increase.

Meanwhile, domestic affairs in Kundrati had began boiling just a year before; bound to escalate to a full-blown civil war.

An incident at the National Museum of Kundrati History in Kasaema during the entire ordeals of April of 5573 eventually led to the Yeudish Bureau of Investigations opening a joint case with Kundratijan authorities.

Allegedly, the Kundratijan Gem that had gone on display was a fake - and the real one was extracted in May 1st of 5573.

And it allegedly reached Ananto that same day.

If the Kundratijan Gem currently - and allegedly - present in Kalistan turns out to be real, that's 7 of the 8 Gems accounted for.

So, where's the 8th?
