His Royal Majesty, Emperor Maximillien V, of the House of Orléans-Vasser, Emperor of Canrille, Monarch of Lourenne, King of Kanjor, King of Alduria, King of the Rildanorians, Prince of Hutori and Kazulia:
Quote:Beautiful words by his majesty the Emperor of the Horses.
May I take a moment to join in the beautiful showcase of civility and upmost eloquence anyone has seen from his majesty. It is a beautiful thing to see our Majatran guests enthrall us in a history lesson of civility. We heard great and noble stories of conquest, of culture, and of deep regards of Yeudi ancestry.
Yet, it matters not. What was once a barbaric culture will suffer to remain one. The natural wild and the free open fields of green remain the proper location for the Jelbic peoples--not on the holy throne of Elior. It is not our place to bemoan or look down upon the cultures of this world, the Canrillaise of course remain an heir of Seluciae. However, it is important to note the great achievements and long-standing record of each here, instead of culture when considering the throne of Beiteynu.
While the jelbics rotted, spewing word-bile from their front openings, the rest of the modern world, such as Canrille, ushered in an era of peace and prosperity. While the jelbic peoples took interest in tending the furs of its animals, the Canrillaise invested in Beiteynu--making it the great hegemon of networks it is today. The Debuas and my ancestors have much weight in this holy conference, if not by culture then by ability, investment, and will that the jelbics naturally do not. I do not doubt the great prowess of the jelbic peoples, what I doubt is their ability to lead a modern, inter-connected empire that needs the upmost value for its institutions and its peoples.
We cannot see ourselves eye-to-eye with the horselords, for we believe they are too low from our sight of eye. However, as bringers of stability and peace, we understand and accept the will of this conclave and its meaning for the throne. There is power in the subtle. There is power in modernity. There is power in stability and in civility. We encourage the House of the Horse to embrace an ideology of progress and a culture fitting for the modern world lest becoming a burden for the rest of this conclave in the future and a threat to the heritage of Elior.
We thank and appreciate the meeting of leaders at this conclave. I take my leave, and along it, the will of Canrille.
