TSR CONNECTING ALDURIA AND MORDUSIA
 

Finance Ministry, September 16, 5593:  After a senior staff meeting concerned with ascertaining if

all agencies with appropriations are likely to stay within their budget and not push for emergency

additions, CLAIRON PICARD asked Finance Minister Fabrice Courbet if electrical recharging in

Numineux was still a priority, and he responded:

 

No, the Government decided at a meeting of the Council of Ministers to make that the budget priority

unless an opportunity arose to complete the portion of the Trans Seleyan Railroad running from

Alduria to Mordusia.  That opportunity has arisen.

 

Both the Commonwealth of Mordiusia and the Republique Socialiste d’Alduria will be working on a

railway connection at their borders.  Communaute de Kanjor and Republique Socialiste d’Alduria

have already built a rail line from Kanjo in Numineux Province to the Aldurian Capital City, Saint-

Michel-Vigile in the La Vallee Region.

 

Communaute de Kanjor will be helping this project considered vital by the Government in three ways. 

First, Torges – Kanjo Ligne Ferroviare (TKLF), which built the original Alduria – Kanjor rail, will

be  refurbishing the existing line from Kanjo to Saint-Michel-Vigile to meet standards.

 

Second, once the crews are done with that, they will assist in building the Aldurian portion to its

border with Mordiusia  also at Government expense.  Third, Government funds have been

 designated and are available to help either of the other parties keep the project rolling.
