Baeguk-Luthori Summit Held, Old Fires Rekindled
Both authorities reconfirmed current trade policy, easing earlier worries that the KGB would seek to raise tariffs on Luthorian goods

For a period of three days top diplomats exchanged information regarding Luthori's desires in the region and Baeguk's position on further cooperation with the Empire.

Luthori was one of the key investors in Baeguk's export economy during the 54th century of rapid industrial development, which saw the rise of first the Baegukese textile and manufactured good industry followed later by advances in car making, machinery, shipbuilding, and chemical production. As of late, Baegukese innovation in electronics and microchips continues to be a market of interest to Luthorian investors, with millions of LOD in shipments between the two nations in related commerce such as the sale of Hanulro smartphones. Though there were concerns that Baeguk would seek to raise tariffs on Luthorian goods following similar protectionist measures against other nations, authorities confirmed today that no plans were currently being considered. 

The KGB and HLE mutually stressed their desires to reconfirm the steady and constant nature of the Baegukese-Luthorian relationship and to commit themselves to a robust cultural and economic ties. They emphasized the necessity of frequent and open communication between the two governments given the decline in communication with the outside world of other historical Luthorian partners such as Seko and Mikuni-Hulstria. In an increasingly polarized geopolitical landscape, both parties also found common ground in the preservation of their unique Democracies; free nations honoring the right to liberty and property under the governance of Constitutional Monarchy.
