Kalopian Blockade Induces Famine in Solentia - Millions at risk of starvation

Kalopian activities in and around Solentia continue to induce a humanitarian disaster in the less economically developed country. Kalopian control of central areas of Solentia has disrupted internal trade and the movement of domestically produced food such as livestocks with the north and south of the country lacking any ground lines of communication. The Kalopian maritime blockade, officially aimed at disrupting the flow of drugs has significantly disrupted the import of cereals to Solentia.



Many Solentians are dependent upon imported food which the Kalopian blockade has reduced to dangerous levels

Humanitarian agencies fear the start of winter of June, stating that if the blockade isn’t lifted million of Solentians will starve to death. One bitter aid worker commented;

The so called Kalopian intervention has been a fiasco. They don’t know why they intervened, they don’t know who they’re supposed to be supporting, they don’t know what the impact of their blockade was going to do and they have no long term plan. Kalopia has been a disaster for the people of Solentia.
