RWPP begins economic nationalizations and wealth redistribution; Opposition cries foul!

The Revolutionary Worker's and Peasants Party has finally made moves towards "fixing" the economic situation wrecking Utari Mosir and it has arguably chosen the most extreme measure; nationalizations and wealth redistribution. All major banks have been nationalized, alongside major private industries and their wealth is being redistributed. While this is putting money into the hands of the people, it's questionable how effective this is as it will likely lead to a corporate exodus, and be a bandaid solution. Combined with the "mass industrialization" planned, environmentalists have some worry and it seems that the future is looking increasingly like it'll be planned.
However, the opposition, being a broad coalition of the DAP, UCD and PCC have found themselves united in opposing the RWPP and the SDs, decrying the move as another nail in the economic coffin. As free market approaches are left in the dust, it is likely that more socialistic reforms will be applied by the RWPP, and Utari Mosir will look increasingly more red. However the effects of these nationalizations are likely to cost Utari Mosir even more as it can be seen as a bandaid solution instead of concrete improvements. As corporations express dismay, disapproval and have shown that they will leave the country, the RWPP is alienating any chance for the free market to help the economy in recovery.
With the opposition angered, and public opinion being supportive but somewhat skeptical and just desperate for any fixes, the RWPP will have its work cut out for it. Perhaps these nationalizations are just the beginning of a properly red era. We can expect more reforms to occur within the year, and we can only hope that the economy is at least repaired. However more will be needed to repair the economy than just redistribution of wealth and nationalizations, jobs will be needed and sources of income. If the RWPP cannot provide those, then they may have worsened the situation for Utari Mosir and doomed any chance of economic recovery. On the other hand, if they can repair the economy then it is likely that their socialist agenda will have no opposition, and they can push Utari Mosir into a socialist or even communist direction. In any case, the outlook isn't good for Utari Mosir.

"The world is but a stage. Why cry, when you can laugh instead? For laughter is humanity's preserve. Laugh it all off, fret not, Let's just enjoy the moment."
