Tensions on the once-pleasant island of Alaria are now on the verge of exploding in the wake of Secretary General Carvelli's speech to the nation and after the threats to dissolve the Patriotic Front.
Floria Monaldi, co-leader of the Patriots, who has been in hiding for months, has returned on social media with a new video message, renewing her attack and harsh criticism on the miserable leadership of the Communist Party which confirmed her fears about the dishonoured promises of democratization. Monaldi firmly announced that the Patriotic Front of Istalia is ready for a veritable crusade to free the country from all its enemies, whether internal or external, in the name of Istalian sovereignty and national unity.
Monaldi, further emphasizing the regime's abuses, recalled how the Patriotic Front's co-founder Mattia Appiano-Solari has been in custody of the Pontolasa authorities for almost two years now without having been officially indicted and without a glimmer of any trial on the horizon, and indicated him as a real political prisoner, unjustly imprisoned by the regime, declaring the Socialist Republic to be still a dictatorial regime that has not kept any of the promises made to the Italian people and the international community.

as I feared and reaffirmed for years, the Communist Government and Secretary Crevelli have shown that their promises of democratization were just empty words. Cravelli is proving to be a new Nevio Russo, a dictator clinging to power and interested in nothing else, and that he and that shameful Communist clique at the head of the country have learned nothing even from the miserable and disastrous war they plunged us into.
We have lived in dictatorship for decades and we are still living in dictatorship, while the voice of the Istalians is repressed and the freedom of our fellow citizens is trampled on again and again and again!
While in the Peninsula the Istalians suffer from foreign military occupation and the abuses of the minority of traitors placed in power by the enemy, in Alaria the Communist Party and the dictator Cravelli are only concerned with keeping themselves firmly in power despite the fact that the country is now tired and does not want to know anything more about this Socialist Republic.
But let me answer Crevelli and the Communist Party that if they think that the Istalians will not react to such abuses, if they think that our fellow citizens who love this great country will stand idly by, if they think that the Patriotic Front of Istalia will bow to their shameful and unacceptable dictates, I tell you that they are very wrong!
If they think they can silence an entire population, if they think they can lock up and almost make an entire nation disappear as they did with our compatriot Mattia Appiano-Solari, now forced for years to suffer the oppression of such vile jailers becoming the first political prisoner of this straugle for the fate of our Country, I tell you again that they are very wrong!
The Patriotic Front, the Action and Liberation Corps and all those groups of brave Istalians who have decided to act and react to regain freedom, democracy and unity, all together united I promise you that today we launch a veritable crusade for the fate of Istalia!
No action, no measure, no provision will be considered too strong or too extreme to put an end to the Socialist Republic and to drive the Communists from the leadership of the country!
Today Istalia awakens, today, even if we would have wished to avoid it, a new war begins, a war for civilization, for our identity and for the destiny of this great and glorious country of ours! And if you want to find those responsible for the violence and blood that will unfortunately come, well, turn to Crevelli, to the Communist Party and to this rotted Socialist Republic!
To our enemies, internal or external, I say and assure you: we will not take a step back, we will not stop until Istalia is free, we will not stop until the Istalians can finally enjoy, once again, their inalienable rights, their sovereignty and their country, united, independent and free!
