Protests in Utari Mosir escalate as violence increases; Nationalists and Communists seek to organize power as National Salvation Council clamps down.

The December Coup (New Year Coup) has left Utari Mosir in paralysis as the military has been stretched thin on maintaining order across the country and especially in the nations capital, Cise. With the economy still shaken from the drastic changes by the RWPP, and the nations democracy shattered by the military, it would seem the final straw on the camels back has finally arrived, as many have looked to the coup as a means of the Hulstrian dominated military to once again put an end to the dreams of a truly free Utari Mosir.
Yet surprisingly (or rather unsurprisingly), the two groups to benefit from this have been extremists. Particularly communists and nationalists. With communists looking to reign in what support they had from the election of the RWPP, they have begun efforts at organizing a proper movement to topple the current regime, whilst the Nationalists have looked to gain support by highlighting the robbery of a free Utari Mosir. Both equally extreme, but both are also equally gaining ground as the National Salvation Council continues to focus on maintaining order (albeit to questionable success) and curbing opposition.
With protests turning to riots and riots turning to violence, the body count is only rising as the nation continues to spiral downwards. With local police units overwhelmed and military units being stretched thin across the country, foreign analysts are left wondering one question: how much longer can Utari Mosir take before it snaps?
With communists blaming the higher echelons of society, and the nationalists blaming Hulstrians, violence is seemingly inevitable, both class and ethnic violence as the National Salvation Council has so far remained incredibly unpopular. Unless the NSC is able to beat down the protests and end the violence, it is unlikely that the NSC will have a smooth year, and neither will anyone in Utari Mosir.
