Ministry of Justice and Ministry of the Interior conduct nation-wide raids on narco ring.

Officials from the Ministry of Justice, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Ministry of the Interior announced the arrest of nearly 100 individuals associated with a narcotics smuggling ring based out of the Sea of Majatra. Minister of Justice Bozhidar Radkov Karapetrov noted that approximately 30 of those arrested were members of "The Guided Hand" (Tokundian: Vođena ruka), a Tokundian organized crime family closely linked with the Udruga, the "mafia" of Deltaria. The investigation began when a number of shipping containers were determined to be "lost" at the Port of Branovica in Alzindar prompting an investigation by the Deltarian National Police, which further prompted the deployment of the Special National Gendarmerie (SNZ) to the port to assist in the investigation. The State Directorate for Internal Security was also deployed after the start of the investigation turned up ties to organized crime; the investigation formally started in January, 5597 and culminated in a nation-wide raid in late June, 5597 in which dozens were arrested and charged by the Prosecutor General's Office for participating in organized crime, trafficking narcotics as well as dozens of other charges. The most prominent among them being Nebojša Vukomanović, one of the senior lieutenants for "The Guided Hand" and a key player in the smuggling of drugs into the country via the country's ports. A large of "The Guided Hand" were arrested, and several of them were charged with higher level offenses due to previous convictions and being on monitoring. President Dražen Aleksić celebrated the news and promised to continue to crack down on crime and restore law and order across Deltaria where it had floundered.
