Emori Offensive Successful; Amidst this, the creation of a War Economy.

The Emori Offensive has been successful for the UFF with the city falling to UFF forces earlier this month. Despite the offensive lasting a few months, and fierce CG resistance, it seems CG forces were able to be whittled down and forced to surrender the city. As such, the UFF has not only secured a military victory but also a propaganda victory against the CG.
However, the UFF has begun efforts to "professionalize" themselves and organize themselves into a proper fighting force, by moving towards the creation of a war economy. As such, the commanding heights of the economy will be placed under state control, with strict rationing on civilian goods and a ban on strikes enacted. A priority will be given to military production, followed by urban goods and finally rural goods. The goal is for this war economy to be gradually phased out once the civil war is won, and also maximize all boosts to the military to ensure more victories against the CG can occur as it's clear being bogged down, especially when winter comes will only result in more death and destruction.
While the war economy does have critiques, particularly from the communists within the UUF and rural advocates, it's received support from those who want to end the civil war as soon as possible. In any case, with Emori under the control of the UUF, it is likely that there will be another offensive eastwards to claw closer to Cise. Experts however doubt that the war will come to a close before winter and most likely will go into spring, if not next summer.
However, the creation of a proper war economy is sure to provide more support for the UUF and give it benefits. Despite the draconian measures, it is better than simply doing nothing. But it will need to be phased out once the civil war is over. However, more battles are expected to come. The building of a war economy is simply the first step to sustaining the UUF, economically, long term.
