Tel Bira secedes to pursue international neutrality; multi-year Neset talks with Yishelem break down
August 5604
Tel Bira, West Bank - The crumbling Kadiyot Administration in Yishelem has received yet another blow after almost 4 years of negotiations and talks with Rishon Le Hofesh, Wiel, Himmelshtern, Bannerhafen, the 3rd Point Federation and Sholemberg on reaching an agreement of surrender on behalf of the Beiteynuese Government, after Vanuku's ultimatum following the Homeland State's decision to use a nuclear weapon on Xsampa's capital.
Maria Kadiyot, the Prime Minister herself, and several members of the administration have been fighting indictments in Beiteynuese courts for the better part of the current decade, with YBI still in hot water on its Kundratijan findings, as the case remains ongoing, as well.
The Yeudi Diaspora reacted positively on closing bell last night after the Secretary of Tel Bira announced the city's secession from the Homeland State, following on the footsteps of Himmelshtern and Sholemberg. He vowed to pursue a direction of unwavering neutrality so as to remain the beating heart of the Neset and the Yeudi Diaspora, "independent of Yishelem's warmongering tendencies".
It is rumoured that ever increasing pressure from Pontesi and Vanuku may in fact lead to Amshinov's and Haifbourg's secession - the two final remaining Nisrads still under the umbrella of the Beiteynuese Government. Although Amshinov's extended ties with Yishelem may prove fatal to the Homeland State's existence, should it choose to secede, the Secretary of Amshinov has held a firm position of support towards Yishelem, thus far.
Political pressure groups from Yishelem and Yakovshtot have been organising protests and marches calling for Maria Kadiyot's resignation. A spokesperson from the MCR demanded that the Prime Minister "be sent to a psych ward and shackled with the white straps uniform".
