Doressa, Kaliburg: The Deltarian government is spreading its wings. Following a fruitfull state visit to Badara, one of Deltaria's closest allies in the region, Deltaria is increasingly looking outside of Majatra for both economic opportunity and new alliances. This new attitude towards foreign affairs, which started in Malivia, has now brought the First Minister to Kalistan as well as Narikaton and Darnussia. To start in Kalistan the First Minister visited the Seleyan nation just after the death of their Premier, Joaquin Bennots-Rodriguez, meeting with President Ari Velasquez to discuss increased ties and cooperation between the two countries. Kalistan has just recently been set free from Lourenne, now being an ally of the Dovani nation. Deltaria had during the country's occupation signed a major arms deal with the Kaliburg government, setting the stage for improved relations between the two countries. The First Minister, following the death of their premier, asked the president to hold the joint press conference before the actual talks, adressing the people of Kalistan directly, "I stand here with mixed feelings. On one hand im am gratefull to be on Kalistani soil, so rich with history and culture. A nation build by the great Kalistani people and kicking back no matter what the challenge may be. On the other hand, your beloved premier Joaquin has passed away. I have been in contact with him sometimes, always kind and dedicated to work for the people of Kalistan. I am saddened by the fact that this dedicated civil servant, who always stood up for his people, has now left us. I am here today with president Ari Velasquez to discuss a further continuation of ties between our people's. And i hope that we can make Joaquin proud. Thank you all."

After the conference the First Minister and President went to the presidential palace in Kaliburg to discuss for over 3 hours. After the discussion the two went around Kaliburg, visiting several war memorials as well as historical locations in the city. In a press statement released later that day the results of talks were presented. Deltaria would use its new International Investment and Development Fund to invest in several key Kalistani industries, both to open up Kalistani products to buy for Deltarian consumers as well as Deltarian products to buy for Kalistani consumers. These investments will be focussed on strengthening these sectors and helping Kalistan further inovate. Another part of the deal includes a price reduction for Kalistan when buying military equipment from Deltaria, allowing the nation to purchase weaponry at a reduced rate. The last and possibly controversial part of the new deal includes basing rights for Deltarian military vessels, allowing Deltarian vessels to ressuply and refuel in certain Kalistani ports in exchange for a annual undisclosed payment by the Deltarian Ministry of War to Kalistan. These basing rights will increase the range of the Deltarian Navy quite significantly, allowing it to possibly operate in and around the Antonese Sea more easily. It is unclear when Deltaria will first use its newfound basing rights in the nation.

Narikaton and Darnussia
After his visit to Kalistan the First Minister did not fly back to Cahtice. Instead his plane set course for the Narikaton and Darnussian capital of Doressa. Deltaria, seeing the change of power happening in the Artanian nation, sees these changes as a opportunity to further increase ties. Deltaria already has extended influence in Malivia, ND's neighbour, operating a naval and airbase there. With the new Doressa regime taking shape Deltaria sees a golden opportunity to extend those influences and relations to the nation. The First Minister arrived in Doressa being greeted by the new King Thorben. Thorben and Horak moved by motorcade to the King's Palace where a state baquet was prepared. They talked about Thorben his ascend to power and relations between the two nations, as well as discussing the historical ties of Thorben with the thaller branch in Deltaria, which currently is in charge of the duchy of Dissuwa. After the state baquet the First Minister went to the office of the Prime Minister, Eric von Kirchberg, to discuss state matters. The discussions went on the entire day, with Horak and von Kirchberg reportedly laughing at times, showing their friendly attitude towards one another. In the press conference held after the meeting both von Kirchberg and Horak stated that the Narikaton and Darnussian people have much in common with the Deltarian people. And that these discussions have shown the two that a friendly, cooperative and equall partnership is in the best interest of the two nations.

To seal this newfound friendship the two discussed several things. One of these discussions resulted in the two agreeing to a arms deal for Narikaton and Darnussia. With ND ordering 1 Kirov-class battlecruiser. 2 278-class nuclear powered attack submarines and 15 R-27 multirole fighter jets. According to First Minister Horak the ordered ships will be constructed by the UEG over the course of the next few years, being send to Narikaton upon completion. The aircraft of the deal will be constructed by the SATURN company and also delivered over the course of the next few years. The equipment will be the export version of them, meaning that they will not be the top of the line quality of the Deltarian equipment but will house all the major important systems and qualities of those ships and aircraft. Another part of the deal includes a direct diplomatic line between Deltaria and ND, allowing the two nations to communicate directly with eachother. Just like with the Kalistan deal the ND and Deltarian delegations also agreed on basing rights for Deltarian military vessels in Narikaton, allowing them to also ressuply and refuel in Narikaton.

These basing rights in both deals show the clear ambitions of Deltaria and are what analysts call, "The beginning of Deltaria increasing its influence and capabilities outside of the Majatran continent". As Deltaria recently got classified as a emerging power, it seems the government of Cahtice is setting the stage for its influence to move outside of Majatra and establish itself on the global stage.
