Huge explosion in Valruzian Sejm

For two months now, Valruzia has seen its biggest protests since Szczepan Morawski coup d'etat in 5592 transformed Valruzia into his personal dictatorship. The assasination of student Robert Obrzut at the hands of the Valruzian police following his arrest during student protests in May has sparked a flame in the hearts of thousands of Valruzians, who have flooded the streets week after week claiming to put an end to Morawski's rule.

A few moments ago, protests have taken another turn as the Valruzian Sejm, place of the parliament of Valruzia - although it has a mere ceremonial rule and is deemed as a "puppet mechanism" of Morawski government - blew out following the detonation of an explosive device.

Police and firefighter bodies rushed to the Sejm, which at that moment was filled with more than half of its deputies, convened for a formal debate on new laws proposed by Morawski cabinet. Eyewitnesses report that a deafening explosion rocked Nowogard, sending a thick column of black smoke billowing into the sky. Some foreign political analysts claim that this explosion underscores the fragility of the situation in Valruzia, where public anger against the regime continues to mount. With protests showing no signs of waning and the government responding with increasing force, the coming days are expected to be critical in determining the country’s future.
