The National Rejuvenation Council and the National Assembly passed Institutional Act No. 9 on extremist parties tonight

It has been announced today that President Tiberius Claudius Nero and the National Rejuvenation Council have sent a bill to the National Assembly in Jildrati City to pass Institutional Act Number 9. This act is reportedly long overdue and very important: the ban on all far-left and far-right parties in the Kundrati Union.

Such an act was implied to have been in effect since the Invasion of the Homeland almost a decade ago; however, not until now had it been official law. When asked why the President declared it an Institutional Act and not an act of the National Assembly, the President said that this was a matter of national security and that now was the time to announce the law to continue the political security that has been established in the Free Zone, and that such a significant act would require an Institutional Act to empathsize the immense impact that such an act will require.

The act passed unanimously, 90-0, in the National Assembly, and the act was signed into effect by the President today to go into effect immediately. The whole act is below.

We, the people of the Kundrati Union, recognize the horrendous acts of the Legion and their far-right ideology.

We, the people of the Kundrati Union, recognize that such ideologies infect all democracies and can easily take over said democracies without the proper rights and orders and demands lacking in all democracies.

Thus we declare,

The Kundrati Union will permanently ban all far-right and far-left parties, organizations, businesses, and groups with more than one member.

All currently existing organizations considered far-left or far-right shall be immediately disbanded, and all properties, whether monetary or otherwise, shall be seized by the Kundrati Union and appropriated as seen fit by the National Rejuvenation Council. Their leadership shall also be subject to arrest and a possible loss of rights or citizenship, and their properties shall also be subject to seizure.

Anyone who was historically a part of the Legion, any organization under the Legion, or any organization which fought against the Kundrati Union, who have otherwise joined these organizations or who have otherwise not left before 1 January 5624 who have not otherwise turned themselves in to a police station or military base, shall be stripped of their Kundrati citizenship and shall be subject to arrest. Those who have already surrendered or who do willingly surrender to a police station or military base before 1 June 5624 shall not have their citizenship stripped but shall remain under arrest until their loyalty to democracy can be proven.

Any organization that wishes to reunite the Free Zone with the Legionary State or destroy the liberal democratic state, the Kundrati Union, its organizations, or the National Rejuvenation Council shall also be subject to this Act and considered appropriately a far-right or far-left organization.

Any organization that wishes to change the state through violent or illegal means is also subject to this Act and shall be considered appropriately a far-right or far-left organization.
