Latest on the PEP Presidential Primary
First Wave of Polling Results Released

Today, following last night's highly-anticipated Town Hall, the first polling results of the PEP Presidential Primary have been released. A majority of the polls were conducted with likely PEP voters; however, Labour Party members also shared an input.

Who is your first choice among the PEP's primary candidates?

  1) Darius Hutcher                    -  37%
  2) Michael Bergmann              -  30%
  3) Blake Archibald-Richardson  - 17%
  4) Ashton Langley                    -  9%
      Undecided                          - 17%

Who is your second choice among the PEP's primary candidates?

  1) Michael Bergmann              - 27%
  2) Darius Hutcher                    - 20%
  3) Ashton Langley                    - 13%
  4) Blake Archibald-Richardson  - 12%
      Undecided                          - 28%

(Among Labour Party Voters) Who is your choice among the PEP's primary candidates?

  1) Michael Bergmann                - 57%
  2) Darius Hutcher                    - 23%
  3) Blake Archibald-Richardson  - 3%
  4) Ashton Langley                    -  0%
      Undecided                            - 17%

So far, Representative Darius Hutcher maintains a slight lead in the polls with Chairman Michael Bergmann close behind. However, early predictions by pollsters underestimated Ashton Langley's grassroots support, who is just behind Blake Archibald-Richardson's numbers in these early polls. In turn, pollsters also overestimated Archibald-Richardson's support. However shortly after the polls were released, a number of endorsements by PEP politicians flooded in. We'll see if they affect the second wave of polls.
