Minister Gebhard von Lettow survives assassination attempt!
Haldor, Kordusia - Minister Gebhard von Lettow of Food and Agriculture, also the deputy party leader of the Konservative Reichspartei, survived an assassination attempt last night thanks to the recently set up Security Department of the KRP. The party's spokesman, Franz Marcks, released the following statement. "On the night of October 14 minister von Lettow was the victim of an ambush on the way to his house. The ambushing terrorists where heavily armed and took out the right front wheel of the car with an IED. The armoured structure of the car minister von Lettow was in and the skillful reaction of the guards escorting him have resulted in the survival of minister von Lettow. Our party mourns the loss of one guard, who we will not name to protect his family. Our party will financially support his family." Minister von Lettow has spent one night in hospital for minor treatments caused by shrapnel and blast pressure. The terrorists retreated after losing three members in a firefight but items found on one of the bodies leads the police to believe that these where members of the Revolutionary Red Army of Workers and Peasants who are also held responsible for the bomb blast in the government district in June.
