As tensions rise in the nearby region around the situation of Kundrati, the Hutorian government imposed a naval sanction by sending the Hutorian Navy into the international waters surrounding northern Kundrati, controlling vessels in suspected violation of the international sanctions put on the Legionary State. While this has slowed down the trade routes to a degree, it has not ended them, which has resulted in the Ministry of Defence ordering that 4 Kivonia-class corvettes, accompanied by 2 Långstad-class corvettes, are to meet up with those vessels that has passed the Hutorian naval sanction and guide them safely to Davostagian waters.
On top of this, the Military High Command has alerted the various branches of the Armed Forces to stand on guard as a precautionary measure in response to the escalating situation. As this morning, the rikspresident ordered the Bindeborg Fleet under Admiral Göran Olensen be activated on combat level with portions of the fleet, 3 Kivonia-class corvettes, 1 Långstad-class corvette and 1 Nyberg-class corvette, to start circling a specific route throughout the Davostagian economic zone into specific parts of the international waters of the Lievenian Sea and the Unholy Sea. While the Northeast-Artanian Fleet is docked in the major harbors on standby. On top of this, the 3rd Special Units Branch Brigade, more commonly known as the 3rd Spezeg Brigade, and the 8th Spezeg Paratrooper Brigade, (the Davostag special forces), have been activated and stationed on the islands of Bindeborg. While the 2nd Spezeg Naval Reconnaissance Station joined the portion of the Bindeborg Fleet in their route.
Both the Office of the Rikspresident and the Office of the Premier has made official statements that declare the military preparations, orders and stationing are simply precautionary until the situation calms down and aimed at safeguarding Davostager lives throughout the region. There has also been unconfirmed report that the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at the behest of the Ministry of Defence and the Premier's Office begin mass-leasing, renting, buying and borrowing hundreds of small to medium to large sized transport vessels placed around the eastern coasts of the islands of Bindeborg and some parts of the southern coasts of mainland Davostag.
While it seems that the rikspresident's office is at full work and is unable to give out a proper full interview at the moment, they have commented unofficially that they are prepared for any situation but most of all for peace.
