Fishing turns into tourist attraction, thanks to Vascanian efforts
January 5629

In yet another case of the unprecedented growth brought forth by the benevolence of the Vascanian people and traders, the Datungu region has long enjoyed the benefits of a fishing boom. So much so, that many small fishing villages have become hotspots for tourists; tourists eager to dive into the curious tradition of stilt fishing, burning half-naked under the sun for hours and waiting for the Vascanian sardinella to bite.

One such story is of Akimo, a 69-year-old male, heavily darkened out of decades of fishing under the scorching sun - and proudly reminiscing the family tradition for generations - but saddened at the recent and mysterious disappearance of his 2nd wife from Xsampa.

Quote:We fish long time. Long time wait. Catch fish, market go sell happy customers!

But woman leave, no call!

[smile fades, sighs]

Akimo, however, has met a new wife, he says. From South Dovani (Hanzen), he claims. One of the many tourists who take solace in the tranquil villages overlooking the calm waters and the behemoth landscape of the Vascanian might to the southeast.

Tourism out of fishing - prosperity even with the most curious of combinations.
