Operation: Firecracker a partial success; KLF suffers losses whilst IDF maintains momentum

Operation Firecracker has concluded to mixed results. While it did stabilize portions of rural New Englia, and prevent escalating the situation immensely, it didn't succeed in its original goal of crippling the KLF and IDF. Not entirely. For New Englian Security Forces and Counter Insurgency Forces, it was largely a success. KLF insurgents were pushed back from some rural communities and took hits.
For the KLF, sizable damage was done to insurgents and this serves as a propaganda victory. With Kilani Rural New Englia being secured, at least portions of it, the KLF is limited in recruiting and operational efficiency. While negotiations to the conflict are still unfeasible and the KLF still is capable of fighting, the AUC can take comfort in this victory against the KLF. It's opened the door for pressing the advantage, and dealing more damage to the KLF, pushing them to the point where they may have to negotiate outright. An optimistic goal, but still plausible, even if it'll take time.
For the IDF however, it was more difficult. IDF insurgents were able to hold their ground, weirdly enough. Reports have emerged about IDF insurgents being armed with foreign weaponry and even some (presumed) mercenaries. Whether these reports are true or not, the IDF managed to hold firm against Operation Firecracker. So while a victory against the KLF can be claimed, a victory against the IDF can't. They still hold strong recruiting capabilities and a strong ability to fight, plus with those unconfirmed reports.
In any case, the IDF remains the biggest threat, likely having fully incorporated the IFF and other far-right paramilitaries into it's fold. With the KLF taking a hit, it may be best for the AUC to focus attention on the IDF. But for now, small gains are still gains.
