Dalibor City Development Will Be Boon for South Dovani, Markets Think

With the likelihood growing in Dalibor that new development in the megacity will soon be underway, South Dovanian corporations across several industries have traded higher in anticipation that such growth will prove profitable on the mainland.

Companies like the titanic Buataya River Canal Construction Authority (UNX: XKK), which built the extensive canal system of the Buataya River during the Udomprecha monarchy, later nationalized as the Revolutionary South Dovanian Canal Construction Authority, and since re-privatized under the authority of the National Economic Renewal Initiative, are expected to be extremely competitive for any projects in Dalibor City given their expertise and proximity to the island nation. Similarly, South Dovanian private security companies have seen increased share prices and trading volumes on the expectation that slum clearance in the Outlands will require significant muscle.

Though the project has the backing of a broad swath of Dalibor's political elite, some Daliboran expats and experts on organized crime on the island warn that all development in Dalibor ultimately benefits criminal elements most of all. Such concerns do not seem set to dampen fervor in South Dovani for the lucrative contracts sure to come.
