Negotiations with Kalistan, Meeting in Hutori Planned

The tumultuous history of Kalistan and Kundrati has long been an issue, over 30 years ago our naval forces clashed under supreme comrade Sladek, but in all histories theres comes a time for reconciliation and resolution. Having been approached by diplomats of Kaliburg comrade Lazar himself agreed with pre-existing conditions to begin overtures for a lasting peace. Should they succeed, all embargos and sanctions from Kalistan and their threats to do so to friendly nations would be a thing of the past and the ancient times of neutrality would oncemore be a thing of the present. Comrade Lazar announced henceforth the Legionary regime would release documents describing internal government operations dating over 20 years, he would extend offers of negotiation regarding a peace resolution to the Etxean rebels, and would halt all WMD development and use, which once an agreement is signed would begin dismantling them all under international observation. A meeting regarding further agreements in Hutori has been planned, which Comrade Lazar has agreed to attend personally.

For many this may seem a turn from the teachings of comrade Sladek, to defy the world and pursue our ultimate victory, but victory is won in diplomacy and negotiation. The legionary party was elected and legally put into office, our comrade Sladek had always obeyed laws and pursued peace at all costs. Now is the time to go onward to a new chapter in the story of the new kundrati man, let us open our hearts to change and be eager to reap the benefits. Trust in the party, trust the supreme leader, and hail Kundrati!
