Roadmap for Nowik's second legislature: Ministers sent across Seleya and Majatra

With multiple plans and initiatives in development, members of Nowik cabinet are reaching allies around the globe

Chancellor Szymon Nowik has today announced that he is dispatching some of his ministers on official trips to multiple nations around Seleya and Majatra to push the development of its plans for this legislature, with Minister of Food Sovereignty Agata Krzycka traveling to Kalistan, Minister of Science Anastazja Zaucha making a trip to Kalopia and Minister of Defence Damian Zaborowski doing the same to neighbouring Tukarali.

In a series of consecutive trips, Chancellor Nowik will accompany his ministers to each of the official visits, underlaying the importance the government is giving to each visit and according to government internal sources, "highlighting that Chancellor Nowik takes deep care and respect to those who he considers his allies". Deputy Chancellor Ksenia Brosz, from National Renewal, is therefore expected to take over the role in acting capacity while Nowik is abroad.

According to Nowik's official agenda, the first stop will be neighbouring Tukarali, where Nowik and Zaborowski are expected to discuss matters of international security cooperation and military joint trainings with their Tukarese counterparts, after the Tukarese government made an official request to the Valruzian government and expressed interest in Valruzian mandatory military service program. 

"Tukarali sees Valruzia as a close ally that helped them in toppling their brutal dictatorial regime and who has helped them in their path towards democratization, and so does Valruzia. Ideological differences aside, both nations see mutual military cooperation and joint military exercises as a step forward in the relation between neighbouring nations. The Valruzian government has made clear that it does not believing in any sort of "Seleyan Alliance", as it sees this kind of organizations as nothing else but an attempt to undermine the national sovereignty of Valruzian people, but we do want to see a development in relations between our two nations, cimented in our shared suffering under a military dictatorship".

The next step will be Kalistan, where Nowik and the recently inaugurated Minister of Food Sovereignty Agata Krzycka will study Kalistan's growers' union model for state-farmer cooperation and share opinions with the Kalistani government on how to improve and better implement the Agro-So initiative announced by Szymon Nowik two months ago, in order to reduce Valruzian dependence on foreign trade and food sales.

Reactions both domestic and abroad to the government National Agro-Food Sovereignty Plan aimed at reducing foreign dependence have been largely positive, and we expect to fully develop and implement its measures in a timespan of a decade. Kalistani government's offer is a very generous one and the Valruzian government sees the Seleyan nation as one of its most trustworthy friends, as both governments share a similar view on many issues, despite obvious political differences.

Agrarian Voice has warned against what they see as an obvious "attempt of foreign influence in Valruzian rural communities" and the development of a "communist-style" rural ownership, but many experts see this criticism as a desperate attempt targeted at their own political base rather than true concerns.

The last step in Nowik's international trip will be Kalopia, where the Gene and Seed Vault is located. The aim of the Valruzian government, at the instance of the Kalopian authorities, is to reach an agreement in the relocation and custody of the samples located in the Kalopian vault to the recently announced Valruzian Terran Shield, with a wider scope than just preserving plant seeds.

"The idea is to move mostly all samples located in the Kalopian Vault to the brand new installations in Valruzia once it is fully built. These huge buildings will feature similar characteristics with the Gene and Seed Vault. The access to the Vault will be extremely regulated, with only Valruzian and Kalopian scientists allowed to work in the facility on a regular base and a team foreign scientists in turns of rotatorial 10 years for transparency and security purposes, along with personalities accompained by Valruzian scientists to be allowed to enter the facilities. The installations will similarly feature a single access road to the Vault, with military surveillance day and night. From the rectangular entrance there is an access to a tunnel excavated in the rock, with different ventilation and cooling systems, in which various identification controls are installed. Towards the middle of the tunnel, a lateral chamber is built that will perform the functions of a research and maintenance laboratory, for the study and conservation of the samples taken to the facility, and at the end, the tunnel opens to three chambers of size unconfirmed, named Sky Domes, prepared for the storage of all the material and protected by armored stainless steel doors. To access the facilities, there will be an institution in charge of issuing the permits, and any person from abroad must always enter accompanied by a researcher from the scientific body itself.
The Agreement in the Terran Shield statutes makes clear that Valruzia nor Chynberg will not claim ownership over the deposited samples, with ownership remaining with the depositor nation, who has the sole right of access to those materials in the seed vault. No one has access to anyone else's seeds or genetic material from the Vault.

It is estimated that the whole trip will take around two to three weeks, with the Valruzian delegation also involved in some cultural visits in the aforementioned nations as well as having meetings with a wide range of companies to find investment for Valruzia, as part of the Valruzia 5700 economic program.
