Yeudi shipping worldwide projected to lose an additional 2.11T CFR in volume by the end of the century

Tel Bira, Adishut Nisrad - The Keshef School of Economics in Tel Bira released a study last month about the state of global and Yeudi shipping both in terms of volume and trajectory across these last few centuries, with a few projections for 5700. With Selucian tariffs and decades of downturns since the dissolution of the Homeland State of Beiteynu in 5608, scholars identified a general downwards trend for the current century.

After global shipping peaked in 5500 at an estimated 14.33T CFR largely due to the momentum gained during the previous century with Yeudi shipping peaking at 7.08T CFR itself in 5400 (more than half of the estimated 12.56T CFR of global volume), a general downwards trajectory was observed, starting with the decline of maritime trade in Seleya following the devastating aftermath of the war in the Sea of Lost Souls.

Later incidents in the Red Bass Ocean and the Artanian Sea sealed the deal of a downwards trend, with global shipping volumes estimated to reach as low as 12.47T by 5700.

The study concludes with the following pillars:

1. Global trade and shipping was mostly stagnant at historically low levels until up to 5300
   
2. It reached an unprecedented extreme peak in 5400 and 5500 dominated by B&L commerce, a trend bound to implode
   
3. It is now on a steady trajectory of stabilising on a slight decline with the pie more aptly split
