Colonel Martinez, I'm glad you're here.

The fight that I'm overseeing is in a mainly flat terrain, less mountainous than one would expect than if you were in Lirnak or southwestern Peghonai. If I am correct, there are 115,000 Kalistani soldiers currently in Etxea under my command. We can spread them out through Jildrath, my plan's point is to do exactly that so that we don't have any pains in the... pardon my language... ass when we head towards Kasaema.

What I can do to alleviate your concerns is to have the Kalistanis focus on surrounding Urdaitz and let my corps and the Davostagers go in for the slaughter. From there, I can have the Kalistanis do the main brunt of spreading out and securing the rest of the state before meeting us in Pilgon for the push north, preferably having them leapfrog us by coming in before us in securing the smaller towns and causing as much destruction as possible ahead of time in the countryside.

Colonel, what do you think of that plan?

As for the southern front in general, I will not lie to anyone here when I say this will be the bloodiest part of the war. We will all experience huge losses. We must stomach that fact here and now and we must train the soldiers on that fact. The Legionaires see us as traitors and will be training their troops accordingly. They were trained to despise Kalistan and Luthori. They will train their troops accordingly. They, frankly and excuse my language, don't give a shit about Hutori and Davostag... well mainly Hutori. 

And we have that same mentality of wanting to slaughter every Legionaire until there are none left. But this will be a grind and we will get bogged down. I can promise Etxea will be secure during this time, though I can't promise they won't try and screw things up in Etxea. The island is ready to become a logistics hub for this entire southern front. It will be a welcome distraction from the daily bombs. 

But this is something for the long term. We all have the enthusiasm.
