This afternoon, Royal councilor Cascabel and Royal councilor Mondragon made their way to Sangon, Tukartali to meet with Prime Minister Maurício Pires 
Pinho and Minister of Trade and Infrastructure Marquinhos Braga to present a plan to completely transform two of Tukarali's busiest port cities: Lomba and 
Cortes. A few weeks ago, the Tukarese government reached out to the government in Altea over potential help with the expansion of their ports. fully
recognizing the need to infiltrate diverse Seleyan markets, Royal Councilor Mondragon and Royal Councilor Cascabel held several over-the-phone meetings
with Prime Minister Pires and his vision for a redeveloped marine sector. 

After two weeks of work, one of the Royal Court's specialized councils worked with private institutions to create the Lomba-Cortes Connection. This plan 
focuses heavily on repairing Tukarali's broken down blue economy and ports. It also emphasizes the importance of expanding manufacturing, residential
and tourist locations. The plan involves a financial budget of 25 billion Crowns over the course of 10 years. The plan to expand the ports and access to 
rail takes a huge precedent. The plan, while ambitious but affordable, represents the best of Egelian ingenuity and cooperative with nations in need of 
assistance. The Royal Councilors stated that this plan was discussed with Prime Minister Pires, who concluded that he would "get back" to the Royal
Government within a week. 

Members of the Egelian private sector such as Novantica and Cascabel-Otienda have begun to look at potential resources and ;logistical plans for the 
Lomba-Cortes Connection. The project, if approved, would guarantee companies--not just Egelion's firm--from all over the world the opportunity to
invest in the Seleyan nation. Once work begins, it will begin a huge employment opportunity for the metro area surrounding these cities. King Romulo
approved the idea and the plan before it was sent to Sangon. He claimed it was a "marvel of Egelian planning and cooperation" citing that it now is
part of a larger foreign policy ideology that is beginning to change in Altea. A policy that focused on neutrality to one that emphasizes global 
cooperation and structure.
