Istalia looks to the East: the Emperor and the Government on a diplomatic tour in Dovani

The international mission of Alessandro V, Minister Secretary Saragat and Minister Martini between Utaristan, South Dovani, Xampa and Kimlien is underway with the aim of striking strategic agreements for trade, investments and critical resources

ROMULA – Emperor Alessandro V, Minister Secretary of State Saragat and the Minister of Economy, Trade and National Industry Carola Martini, are about to embark on a historic international diplomatic tour that will cross the eastern continent of Dovani with stops planned in Utaristan, South Dovani, Xampa and Kimlien.
An official visit of great political and economic weight, a fundamental step in the renewed international ambition of Istalia and its growing commercial dynamism.

The tour, prepared for months if not years of contacts and negotiations, aims to consolidate relations with some of the economies today considered among the most promising and dynamic of the Dovanian continent. In particular, the Istalian Government aims to guarantee new outlets for national companies, find investment opportunities, establish industrial and technological cooperations and, above all, ensure safe channels for the supply of strategic resources, with a specific focus on rare earths, which are essential for the high-tech, energy and advanced materials research sectors.

Among the most significant stages is South Dovani, where the Istalian entrepreneurial presence is already well established. In the last ten years, in fact, there has been a real surge in investments, particularly in the infrastructure, mining and agro-industrial sectors. Mutual interest has generated strong pressure for the definition of a bilateral trade agreement, aimed at protecting the economic actors already present and encouraging further trade. Also to be considered is South Dovani's interest in the industrial know-how that Istalia could bring to the country and from which it could learn, an interest showed not only by South Dovani in truth. In light of the internal South Dovanian situation, which sees the legitimate government challenged by militias and political movements opposed to the current establishment, the Government will certainly also address further issues beyond economy and trade.
The Head of Government Saragat has paid particular attention to the internal situation in South Dovani, especially in relation to the already growing presence and activity of Istalian companies and actors in the country. The Government seems to be concerned about risk of tax evations, some phenomena of delocalization of production by some Istalian companies and, according to some rumors, although unconfirmed, not only that.

Playing a key role in the diplomatic tour will be Minister Martini, a member of the New Communist Party, a figure who could facilitate negotiations with the governments of Kimlien and Xampa, both led by socialist republics that have recently undergone reforms of economic and political openness. The presence of the Minister aims to foster a dialogue that is ideologically more similar, in the hope of accelerating collaborations on an industrial, technological and research basis.

But the Dovanian tour is only the beginning: the executive has in fact announced that it has accelerated the preparation times for a state visit to Valruzia, a possible new important partner of Istalia in North Seleya and in the Southern Ocean area. In light of the recent geopolitical tensions in the Migrant Pass, which threaten regional stability and international trade routes, strengthening the bond with Valruzia takes on primary strategic significance, with the aim of creating a united front that supports a peaceful resolution of the situation. In this regard, after the news that the Lodamun authorities are about to meet with the Selucian counterparts, Minister Secretary Saragat stated:

Such a meeting can only be positive. I hope that the parties involved will work to find an agreement that will avoid an armed conflict that no one wants.

Every nation in the world is well aware of what a conflict in the Migrant Pass would mean: it would be a huge blow to international trade that could lead to a global crisis, the last thing anyone would want at this time.

The support of our proposal for a wide-ranging international discussion on the issue already received from the Governments of Valruzia and Badara reflects a shared thought: the international waters of the Migrant Pass cannot and must not be subject to the unilateral jurisdiction of the 3PF and/or one of its member nations. Ships from all the nations of the world cross that stretch of sea and international maritime law exists precisely to protect ships and trade from all over the world, it cannot be crushed by the interests of single nations.

Among the other topics on the table with Valruzia will be an agri-food cooperation agreement too focused on joint research, agricultural innovation, mutual protection of production, with particular attention to the respective excellences, and reduction of dependence on foreign supplies, the latter an objective consistent with the Istalian strategy of strengthening domestic production also designed to support agri-food exports to new emerging markets, such as those of Dovani.

Istalian producers, particularly in the wine, pasta, cheese, cured meats and cold cuts sectors, are optimistic about the results expected from the tour: the opening of new markets could translate into a significant increase in revenue, and represent a new phase of global expansion of the Made in Istalia.
