The government of Valruzia has announced plans to construct a monumental tribute to those who fought and perished in the name of freedom during the Valruzian, Baltusian, and Tukarese revolutions, as well as the countless victims of the oppressive regimes that once ruled the three nations. The proposed "Monument of the Fallen" would stand at the tri-border area between Valruzia, Baltusia, and Tukarali, as a symbol of unity and shared sacrifice.

"This monument aims to honor the bravery of citizens who rose against oppresion, as well as those who suffered under authoritarian rule."

has stated the Valruzian Foreign Ministry. Valruzian officials have emphasized that this project is shall stand as a regional commitment to remembrance and reconciliation. The chosen site is a strategic and symbolic point where the borders of the three nations meet (see map above), and would welcome visitors from all around the three nations and outside of them.

While the exact design has not yet been finalized, Valruzia will also invite its neighbors to contribute ideas, ensuring the monument reflects the shared history and values of all three nations. For this purpose, Valruzia will formally present the proposal to Baltusia via the first official visit of Valruzian government officials to the now democratic nation, that has hosted its first free elections since the fall of its regime and which Valruzia has officially recognized; and Tukarali via its ambassador in the southern neighbour, seeking their approval and cooperation. If accepted, the three nations would begin a public process for all citizens from the three nations to propose ideas, as well as create a regional register of the victims and their names.

Although the characteristics vary in their core ideologies - the Morawski dictatorship in Valruzia was right-wing of nature, while the Tukarase and Baltusian ones had more left-wing similarities - the Valruzian government led by Szymon Nowik does not want to focus the monument in this issue, but rather in those "who chose to defy an authoritarian rule in the search of a better future for their families and friends".

The 20th anniversary of the 5623-5624 Valruzian protests is approaching, while the Tukarese is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary and the Baltusian is just born; the three of them have come to be known as the North Seleyan revolutions, and have inspired other revolutions around Terra such as the democracy movements in Utaristan and Solentia.
