KLP's Aiden Byrne 'deeply concerned' over questionable Central Bank reports

The Kirlawan Libertarian Party's Aiden Byrne has questioned why certain items in the recent report from the Central Bank have been redacted. The TD highlighted the disparity in the report as he spoke of "the necessity of fiscal transparency concerning our public accounts". Speaking at the Public Accounts Committee, he called for the Central Bank to permit the Committee to view the "origins and destinations of these funds". A bank representative spoke before the Committee, stating that the funds had been redacted in order to "protect the privacy and dignity of members of the public". The Committee has since moved on from the matter.
