1. Recruitment and Selection Process
  • Eligibility: Candidates would be drawn from the Pontesi Navy or other branches of the military. They must be highly motivated, physically fit, and have an aptitude for quick decision-making and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Initial Screening: All candidates would undergo extensive physical and psychological evaluations, along with tests of their ability to work under stress. The process could last several weeks and would be designed to weed out those who aren't suited for the demands of special operations.
2. Phase 1: Foundational Training (6 months)
Objective: Build the physical, mental, and tactical foundation needed for all Khajis.
  • Basic Physical Training: Intense physical conditioning, including endurance running, swimming, obstacle courses, and strength training. Candidates would need to be proficient in both land and water-based operations.
    • Focus: Combat swimming, underwater diving, long-distance running, climbing, and strength conditioning.
    • Fitness Standards: Candidates must pass rigorous physical benchmarks like swimming 1.5 kilometers in under 30 minutes, completing a 20-kilometer run with full gear, and performing strength tests such as pull-ups and push-ups to fatigue.
  • Water Survival and Combat Training: Instruction in water survival, including how to stay afloat for extended periods, and how to engage in combat both underwater and from boats.
    • Skills: Treading water for hours, performing underwater navigation, combat swimming with full gear, and surviving at sea.
  • Small Arms and Marksmanship: This phase focuses on teaching the fundamentals of shooting accuracy, weapon handling, and maintenance.
    • Tactics: Soldiers will become proficient with assault rifles, pistols, shotguns, and sniper rifles. The goal is to be able to shoot accurately in both calm and stressful conditions.
  • Basic Tactical Training: Instruction in small unit tactics, such as room-clearing techniques, patrol formation, and basic ambush strategies.
    • Teamwork: Candidates will work closely in teams, learning how to communicate effectively and work in sync during missions.
  • Navigation and Land Survival: Candidates will be taught navigation using maps, compasses, and GPS, as well as survival techniques in hostile environments.
    • Objective: Navigate dense forests, deserts, or open seas while evading capture, and survive in the wilderness with minimal equipment.
3. Phase 2: Specialized Training (6 months)
Objective: Build specialized skills depending on the role within the unit (e.g., combat diver, sniper, demolitions expert).
  • Advanced Combat Diving: Soldiers chosen for combat diving specialization will undergo advanced underwater operations training.
    • Skills: Infiltration by sea, underwater demolition, underwater combat, and working with specialized dive equipment.
  • Amphibious Assault Tactics: Candidates will learn to perform coordinated sea-to-land assaults, using fast boats, submarines, or helicopters.
    • Training: Fast-roping from helicopters, beach assaults, and infiltrations using small boats or diving techniques.
  • Close-Quarter Combat (CQC): Advanced training in hand-to-hand combat and room-clearing tactics in urban environments.
    • Focus: Quick and efficient use of small firearms, tactical knives, and unarmed combat techniques like Krav Maga, Systema, or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
  • Explosives and Demolitions: Training in explosives handling, including placing charges to destroy infrastructure, vehicles, or fortified positions.
    • Skills: Dealing with landmines, breaching techniques, and the controlled use of C4 or other demolition explosives.
  • Sniper and Recon Training: For those chosen as snipers or reconnaissance operatives, the focus will be on stealth, precision shooting, and long-range target identification.
    • Focus: Camouflage, long-range shooting, observation, and silent movement through various terrains.
4. Phase 3: Leadership and Mental Training (3-4 months)
Objective: Develop the mental toughness and leadership skills necessary for special operations.
  • Mental Resilience and Stress Conditioning: Candidates will be pushed to their mental limits, undergoing sleep deprivation, exposure to simulated combat stress, and decision-making exercises under extreme pressure.
    • Focus: Preparing candidates to make rapid decisions in life-threatening situations.
    • SERE Training: Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training would be key in this phase, teaching soldiers how to survive behind enemy lines, resist interrogation, and escape captivity.
  • Leadership Training: This phase will emphasize decision-making, team leadership, and communication. Soldiers will be placed in simulated combat scenarios, where they must lead their team under high stress.
    • Skills: Tactical planning, mission execution, and maintaining team cohesion during complex missions.
5. Phase 4: Advanced Mission Training (4-6 months)
Objective: Perfect specialized tactics and ensure readiness for real-world operations.
  • Joint Operations and Foreign Training: Soldiers will train with foreign special forces and learn joint operations tactics for multinational deployments.
    • Focus: Language skills, adapting to different combat environments, and cross-training with foreign elite units (e.g., NATO or regional allies).
  • Real-world Scenarios: The final part of training will involve real-world mission simulations, including night operations, counter-terrorism missions, hostage rescues, and covert infiltrations.
    • Focus: Multi-environment training (urban, jungle, mountain, and desert), emphasizing adaptability in diverse operational contexts.
6. Continuous Training and Exercises
Objective: Ensure the Khajis maintain peak operational readiness throughout their careers.
  • Regular Drills: After initial training, the unit would continue with regular drills, exercises, and international missions to maintain their edge.
  • Cross-Training: Regular interaction with other elite units within Pontesi and abroad, participating in joint military exercises.
Total Duration: 18–24 months
