TVW will stay out of FOMAT "for the foreseeable future" 

Bad results and public lack of interest may be behind the broadcaster's reasons to drop out of the international song contest

Earlier this morning, the Director of Content of Telewizja Walruzja (TVW), Justyna Bara, has announced that Valruzia will not send a representative to the next FOMAT, set to be hosted in Istalia in November 5649. Among the reasons, Mrs. Bara announced the streak of bad results (two 7th places out of 10 and 11 entries) and public apparent lack of interest according to audience data. 

"The broadcaster is currently undergoing some radical changes in its expenditures and TV content. And for the moment, FOMAT will be dropped out for the foreseeable future. We thank and appreciate the representatives we have sent to the Contest, but the new leadership elected for TVW believe that the results obtained plus the data collected regarding public interest in the contest do not justify the expenses we are required to put in."

When asked about if this choice was definitive, Mrs. Bara responded positively, but left the door open for future events.

"Even though we are staying out for the moment, we will never say no because things may change. Who knows?".
