Strategic agreement between Ajace and Istalian Airways: AJ4XX and AJ9X Projects are born

It is an important day for the Istalian aeronautical industry: Ajace Aeronautics has signed a strategic agreement with Istalian Airways, the country's flag carrier, which has committed to purchasing from Ajace a significant number of the new aircraft currently under design. The models in question, identified with the acronyms AJ4XX and AJ9X, represent two new airliners intended for the wide-body and  narrow-body markets respectively, with the aim of relaunching the competitiveness of Istalian civil aviation on international markets.

The flagship project, AJ4XX, involves the creation of a twin-engine wide-body capable of carrying up to 350 passengers in a three-class configuration and with a range of over 16,000 kilometers. An aircraft designed for long-range, which will have to compete with the giants of the sector in an increasingly demanding market in terms of consumption and environmental impact.

To achieve these goals, Ajace focuses on advanced composite materials and carbon fiber, key elements for reducing weight and improving overall efficiency. On the propulsion front, the company has announced its intention to evaluate both national and international solutions, with the aim of offering flexibility and performance in line with the latest environmental standards.

In this context, the return of a big name in the Istalian industry fits in: "AUDISS-Leonardi Turbomeccanica". The historic engine division of the Leonardi conglomerate has expressed its desire to return to the aeronautical market, betting on a strategic collaboration with Ajace for the supply of new engines. A return that has been awaited for years and which, if confirmed, could consolidate the group's presence in this high-tech sector.

Alongside the wide-body AJ4XX, Ajace will also develop the AJ9X, a narrow-body aircraft designed for medium-haul routes. With a capacity of up to around 200 passengers and a range of over 7,000 kilometres, the aircraft will inherit many of the technologies of its bigger brother, ensuring high levels of competitiveness in its segment.

The interest already shown by Levantia, a new private company based in Albeta founded by the entrepreneur Marco Ferrari, in collaboration with Corona Crociere, has not gone unnoticed. Levantia, designed to operate as a low-cost company, aims to build a network of internal and regional connections in the East Majatran area and in South Seleya. The AJ9X could become the workhorse of this expansion strategy, offering reliability and operational savings.

With these projects, which in light of the design conceived by the company will be the basis of two entire new families of aircraft, Ajace strengthens its position as a central player in Istalian civil aviation, supported by the commercial commitment of Istalian Airways and the renewed dynamism of the national technological sector. It is a bet with a high industrial impact, with significant repercussions also in terms of employment, production chain and export capacity.
