Valruzia to send military and scientific help to Nadiyan Confederation after nuclear incident

National government has contacted the Kerisian leadership and offers help in various ways

Following the nuclear disaster that has shaken the Nadiyan Confederation - oficially the Trigunian nation - the government of Zuzanna Kosowska has contacted its counterpart in the Kerisian continent to offer assistance and help, both military and scientific. Chancellor Zuzanna Kosowska confirmed in a press conference this morning that both military and scientific units will be dispatched to the nation in the coming hours, as part of a humanitarian and technical assistance effort coordinated directly with the Nadiyan authorities.

"The people of Valruzia stand with the citizens of the Nadiyan Confederation in this time of immense crisis. Our scientists and rescue teams are ready to assist in any way we can. Our scientists from the Nuclear Research Council are ready to assist our friends in any way needed. They are among the best experts in the field, and their help will be of great use."

According to the Ministry of Defence, an initial deployment will consist of two C-420 tactical airlifters transporting radiation monitoring and decontamination units, a 35-person rapid-response military team specializing in nuclear, biological, chemical environments and a delegation of nuclear scientists, toxicologists and bioinformatics experts from the RBJ (the Nuclear Research Council), as well as equipment, material and medicines for the affected people in the region. 

Minister of Science Kornelia Fedak detailed the role of the scientific team:

"Our experts will collaborate with Nadiyan researchers on radiation mapping, containment logistics, and health screening protocols for local populations. Early containment and genomic monitoring are critical in these scenarios."

Fatal errors in the nuclear plant that may have led to the disaster include lack of staff, equipment, and recent budget cuts.



The government is also in permanent contact with the authorities in Likatonia and Lodamun, as agencies from the three nations are monitoring possible radiation coming from the north to the Seleyan continent. The Valruzian Methereological Agency is said to be in level 3 alert.
