A New Vision for the Love Party; The Birth of Crowned Liberalism.

Ever since the Love Party began to gradually recover and regain ground in Confederal Elections by virtue of simply being boring enough to promote stability, many have constantly asked, what does the Love Party promote? For most, the answer has been "liberalism". But that doesn't exactly say much. For others, it was nothing. They offered nothing. This week however, it seems that has changed as the Love Party has released a new manifesto, subscribing to a new form of liberalism; Crowned Liberalism.

Previously, the Love Party embraced the rhetoric of don't shake the boat and was pretty neutral to monarchism. Now however? The Love Party has chosen to embrace monarchism, looking to strengthen monarchism in Nadiya and strengthen ties with monarchies in Keris. It can be expected that the Love Party will make monarchism a consistent issue in future elections. The argument is that monarchism can further tie all of Nadiya together and strengthen the bonds within the Confederation.

Economically, Crowned Liberalism has taken an almost romantic approach, arguing that while the socialized economy has been vital, and should be preserved largely, a thriving private market is and should be created. The argument goes that private enterprise and consumer choice can enrich cultural diversity in the Confederation, alongside innovation and economic development. And their economic views tie with their social views of maximum personal choice and liberty. Arguing that collectivism, while having its merits, is something Nadiya must avoid. Crowned Liberalism argues that every Nadiyan should be able to start their own business and thrive, for personal fulfillment, entrepreneurship or anything else. Regulations should serve as guardrails, not chains for Nadiya.

In terms of foreign affairs, Crowned Liberalism (and subsequently the rest of the Love Party) have called for increased ties with Keris and especially with Kerisian monarchies, looking to promote a globalist yet sovereign and proud Nadiya. Promoting the ideals of having Nadiyan markets more open to the world, or at least to Keris and arguing for a Nadiya that economically engages with all of the world, Crowned Liberalism is looking to highlight how the Private Market and the Private Sector could thrive in Nadiya's economy.

While it remains to be seen if there will be approval for Crowned Liberalism, it's also too early as elections were just two years ago. This can be a total flop, or it could lead to the Love Party making major gains. It's finally looking to build an identity beyond "don't rock the boat". Whether it'll be able to manage a commitment to the private market and keeping Nadiyan realities in check is anyone's guess. But that'll require winning elections enough to govern. Or at least being able to enact reforms in a coalition government. Whatever the case, the Love Party is looking to make it's moves.
