Bannerhafen continues foreign policy offensive

The Ossel administration has made it obvious that it intends to continue a course of an active foreign policy. In recent months it has signaled to its traditional allies that it aims to strengthen its approachable attitude in regards to any and all cooperation. It has been made obvious by avances from and towards Pontesi. It’s new government has made considerable efforts to rekindle the strong pantership the two Beidels Pass nations have had in the past. As such President Ossel intends to visit Pontesi to show and symbolize the strong economic and security bond the two nations have. Additionally to positive messaging between the two, they’re appearing to have a similar position in regards to recent tensions in the Pass due to misplaced naval actions by Himmelshtern command. On a final note regarding Pontesi the office of the Director has stated that the two nations are about to sign a multi-billion dollar deal about port modernization and a potential cooperative development scheme for nuclear power plants.

The context of the message was a planned visit of Foreign Affairs Director Burschenschauer (VVP) to northern power of Hutori. The Triad intends to take the hand offered by its Vascanian partners and to help with security advancements in the area. Ossel has issued an order about increased recruitment for the Himmelshtern Security Forces and reorganization plans for the state forces across the sea. It appears that there is a lot of tension between Amudim, Himmelshtern and Bannerhafen officials. According to rumors the President has tasked the Defence Ministry to station ground forces from the darnussian mainland in Himmelshtern to put near the borders to the other city-states in an effort to put more pressure on the Amudim officials to respond to border withdrawals and 3rd Point Federation resolutions. More direct was the presidential order of Ossel to the admiralty in Himmelshtern to stand down and report any and all Selucian activities to Bannerhafen.
