Villar y Zepeda have announced the opening of a new Majatran branch, this time in Pontesi, following weeks of negotiations and city planning with Pontesi officials. Villar y Zepeda is one of Egelion's top financial institutions only after Cascabel-Otienda and Banco Ibarra. Villar y Zepeda is unknown to international investments at this point. The bank is the main sponsor and lender to the Real Academia, who has several operations throughout Terra. Villar y Zepeda is known as the "wildcard" of all Egelian institutions as their unconventional approach sees them investing in anything from port expansions to curriculum programs. The bank however has refused to step into Majatran markets, unlike their competitors, due to a significant lack of opportunities. However, that era for Villar y ZZepeda has ended as it has just opened its first Majatran bank, this time in Pontesi.

CEO Leonardo Zepeda, stated in a n interview with "El Diario", that the bank was specifically located in Pontesi due to the "untapped and unacknowledged potential that exists within the nation". Villar y Zepeda is not only looking to establish basic banking programs for the local population, but also open larger loans and grants for other companies and institutions. The bank is currently offering basic services such as savings accounts, finance consultations, and smaller loans to make sure that the bank has a solid and stable foundation. Zepeda has stated that the bank is looking to be a major force in the area such as Cascabel-Otienda, who is successfully operating from Selucia. Villar y Zepeda will begin to look at opportunities within Pontesi, which are plentiful at the moment. The bank will also look beyond Pontesi to nations such as Badara, Istalia, and even Amudim.

Villar y Zepeda is looking to replace the current monopoly that Amudim's institutions has on Majatran markets. "While we are focused on providing stable and safe transactions for Majatran residents, we are also looking to provide an alternative to Amudim's corporate strangle on the continent. We simply cannot rely on Amudim's banks or financial giants any longer", stated CEO Zepeda. Villar y Zepeda has already posted positive news on their new branch, but many will have to  wait and see if the bank becomes a longstanding and continental success in the furture.
